Our Art Show is coming. Art may be the main focus for many students in our art department, but what if I tell you that soon you will all be able to experience it first-hand at school?
Featuring works from last year’s Multimedia Arts Alumni and the curatorial concept of Arts Curating Alumni, the exhibition A Glitch of Self is all about the idea of rediscovering oneself through glitching and going back to the basics.

Characterised by a strong introspective touch, the long-awaited art show will take place inside the Via Tornabuoni School from Monday, November 13 till Thursday 16, but it’s not just a physical event.  Due to the collaboration with conceptual artist Andy Picci, A Glitch of Self has taken a digital turn, so it will also be available on the Istituto Marangoni Metaverse and the online platform spatial.io.

For those unable to attend the Art Show in person, a dedicated Metaverse section will provides starting Monday a unique and immersive way to view the digitised version of the artworks and the entryway to all the digital dimensions of the exhibitions.

So, make sure to free up your schedule and come to school to show your support and appreciation for the Alumni artists who once filled the corridors of Istituto Marangoni Firenze and, on Monday, will enrich the forever-dear venue with their creativity.
